Here's the plain English version — no tech jargon. Before an Arc's selection runs, the system generates a secret answer and locks it in a sealed envelope (a published code that everyone can see). Nobody — not even us — can change what's inside that envelope after it's sealed. When all 10 slots fill and the countdown ends, the system opens the envelope, and the answer inside determines the winner. After the winner is announced, we show everyone the original secret so they can verify it matches the sealed envelope. If they match, you know the result was decided before anyone entered. It's the same idea as a notarized document — proof that nobody changed the answer after the fact. After the fact, anyone on Earth can verify it. We also encrypt the secret while it's stored, so even a database breach wouldn't expose it before the selection runs.
